In times like these, I’m comforted by the knowledge that the bonds that unite us are what define us. We all want a better future for ourselves and for our families.
This season is also the season of thanks, and this year, I have a lot for which to be thankful.
I'm thankful for YOU, our members, for giving us the honor of serving you every single day. It's our honor to serve you as you serve or have served our country. I appreciate your patience during these trying times and for your honest feedback. Without that, we couldn’t improve.
I'm also thankful for our employees, who work tirelessly in support of our mission, but most of all for their dedication to you. I’m continuously amazed to see how quickly they’ve adapted to ever-changing circumstances and for continuing to make Navy Federal a great place to work.
And last, but certainly not least, I’m especially thankful for our veterans. Your service to this country has made all of the above possible and inspires us to follow your examples of loyalty, commitment and respect. This year, Navy Federal is partnering with The Mission Continues, making donations in support and honor of our veterans.
We've also recently revisited our Best Cities After Service list by asking veterans nationwide for their input on what factors helped them transition successfully to civilian life. We hope our list will take some of the guesswork out of making a move and make it easier for our soon-to-be veterans to move forward with confidence.
I hope you have a joyous holiday season, and for the families of Active Duty servicemembers currently overseas, we hope you're reunited soon.
Stay safe, enjoy time with loved ones, and as always, we’re here for you.
