Get the Most Out of
Our Mobile App*

These step-by-step guides will help you get
the best mobile banking experience.

Sign In & Settings

Reset Password

  1. Sign in to the mobile app.
  2. Open the navigation menu icon by tapping the Menu icon in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Tap PROFILE AND SETTINGS under your name.
  4. Tap Password.
  5. You'll be prompted to enter your current password and choose a new one.

Forgot Password

  1. Open the mobile app.
  2. Tap the orange Sign In button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap the NEED HELP SIGNING IN? link under the username and password fields.
  4. Tap Forgot Password.
  5. You'll be prompted to enter your username and date of birth. Tap Continue.
  6. You'll be prompted to answer your password reset question. Tap Continue.
  7. We'll ask you to select a number where we can call you. Tap Call Me.
  8. You'll be presented with a security code and will receive a call within 30 seconds. Enter the code when prompted during the call.
  9. Once the call ends, return to the app to create a new password.

Forgot Username

  1. Open the mobile app.
  2. Tap the orange Sign In button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap the NEED HELP SIGNING IN? link under the username and password fields.
  4. Tap Forgot Username.
  5. You'll be prompted to enter some account information, your date of birth and Social Security Number. Tap Submit.
  6. We'll send you an email to update your username.

Find Access Number

  1. Sign in to the mobile app.
  2. Open the navigation menu by tapping the Menu icon in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Tap PROFILE & SETTINGS under your name.
  4. Your Access Number will be displayed with your other personal information on the PROFILE & SETTINGS screen.

Set Username

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap PROFILE & SETTINGS.
  3. At the top of the menu, tap Set Up Now next to Username.
  4. Follow the instructions to create a username and tap Submit Username.

Enable Notifications

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap PROFILE & SETTINGS.
  3. In the menu under PREFERENCES, tap Notifications.
  4. Enable the notifications you’d like using the bell to receive them via push notification and the envelope to receive them via email.
  5. Tap the orange Save button.

Find Nearest Branch

  1. After opening the mobile app, tap the tile in the bottom left corner that says Find the nearest ATM or Branch.
  2. The tile will display the closest ATM or branch. Tap GET DETAILS in the tile.
  3. You’ll see a list of the closest Navy Federal Credit Union locations.
  4. Select one of the locations to see more details. You can tap Get Directions at the bottom of the screen to see the location on the map and the best route to get there.

Manage Address

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap PROFILE & SETTINGS.
  3. In the menu under PROFILE, tap Address.
  4. Enter your address information and tap the orange Continue button.
  5. Select one of the options for a verified address, to re-enter your address or to use the address as you entered it on the previous screen. Tap the orange Continue button.
  6. Review the information on the next screen and tap Update Address to save your new address details.

Manage Email

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap PROFILE & SETTINGS.
  3. In the menu under PROFILE, tap Email.
  4. Enter the email you’d like us to keep on file and tap the orange Save button.

Manage Phone Number

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap PROFILE & SETTINGS.
  3. In the menu under PROFILE, tap Phone.
  4. You can edit your existing phone numbers or tap Add Another Phone Number.
  5. Select the type and enter the phone number you’d like to add. Tap the orange Save button.

Account & Card Management

Get Account and Routing Numbers

  1. From the Accounts screen, tap on the account you need information about.
  2. Tap the blue circle with the arrow in your available balance box.
  3. You can view your account number and routing number on the next screen.

Change PIN

  1. From the Accounts screen, tap on the account linked to your debit card.
  2. Tap the blue circle with the arrow in it next to your account balance.
  3. Under “Debit Card Management,” tap Change Debit Card PIN.
  4. You'll be prompted to enter and verify a new PIN.

Activate Debit Card

  1. From the Accounts screen, tap the account linked to the card you want to activate.
  2. Tap the blue circle with the arrow in it next to your account balance.
  3. Under “Debit Card Management,” tap Activate Debit Card.
  4. Tap the specific card you want activated.
  5. Tap Activate on the next screen to finish activating your card.

Rename and Reorder Accounts

  1. From the Accounts screen, tap EDIT ACCOUNTS VIEW below the list of accounts.
  2. You'll be able to rename accounts by typing in the text field and reorder accounts by dragging them above or below other accounts. Tip: You can also hide accounts by tapping the eye icon next to an account,
  3. Tap DONE in the top right corner to save your changes.

View Statements

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, select the account on your Accounts screen for the statement you'd like to view.
  2. Tap the blue More button next to your account balance.
  3. Tap VIEW next to Statement as of (date).

Freeze/Unfreeze Card

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, select the account on your Accounts screen for the card you'd like to freeze.
  2. Tap the Menu in the bottom center of the screen.
  3. Tap Freeze/Unfreeze Card.
  4. Select the card you'd like to freeze.
  5. Tap the orange Freeze button.
  6. Tap the orange Done button.

Whenever a card is frozen, you'll see a message at the top of the Account Details screen for that card. Tap the blue UNFREEZE link, then the orange UNFREEZE button to unfreeze the card.

Transactions: Transfers, Deposits & Payments

Account Transfers

  1. Sign in to the mobile app.
  2. Open the navigation menu by tapping the Menu icon in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Tap Transfers in the menu.
  4. On the Transfers screen, you can choose to make a transfer or manage the accounts you've set up to receive transfers.

Member-to-Member Transfer

  1. Sign in to the mobile app.
  2. Open the navigation menu by tapping the Menu icon in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Tap Transfers in the menu.
  4. Tap the orange Make Transfer button. You can also add another member's account by tapping View/Add Accounts.
  5. After you select an account to transfer from, select an account to receive the transfer. To transfer to another member, you'll want to select an account under Navy Federal Member Accounts.

Bill Pay – Add Biller

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. In the menu, tap Bill Pay.
  3. If you haven't previously, tap the orange Enroll button.
  4. Tap the gray View/Add Billers button.
  5. Tap the [plus sign] in the top right corner of the screen.
  6. Select the type of biller you'd like to add.
  7. Search for your biller, enter your account information and tap Continue.
  8. Tap the orange Add Biller button. Review your details, then tap the orange Done button to complete the process.

Bill Pay – Make Payment

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left of the screen.
  2. In the menu, tap Bill Pay.
  3. Tap the orange Make Payment button.
  4. Enter the information for your payment and tap the orange Continue button.
  5. Review your details and tap the orange Make Payment button.

Mobile Deposit

  1. After signing in to the mobile app, tap the Menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. In the menu, tap Deposits.
  3. Tap the orange Enroll and Deposit button.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the disclosure and tap ACCEPT.
  5. Tap the orange Make Deposit button.
  6. Enter your check details and follow the instructions for capturing images of the front and back of the check.
  7. Tap Continue.
  8. Review your details, then tap the orange Make Deposit button to complete the process.
