  • Who's eligible for minor membership?

    Children (including adopted or stepchildren) and grandchildren of existing members are eligible for a youth membership.

  • How do I get started?

    If you’re an existing member and a parent, grandparent or guardian, share the gift of membership with someone under 18 using our online minor membership application. You can also visit a branch or call us at 1-888-842-6328 to learn about opening a minor membership.

  • Can my child access the Navy Federal app on their mobile devices?

    Minors ages 14 and up can download the app to their mobile devices once their parent or guardian completes the minor membership application form for enrollment. After setup, they'll have access to view account balances, make transfers and more. To enable mobile access, a parent or guardian must be listed as either the joint owner or a "trusted user" on the account.
