VIENNA, Va. (June 27, 2022) – Navy Federal Credit Union ranks No. 4 out of 14 largest organizations in The Washington Post’s 2022 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. As the only credit union on the list, selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection. This year 200 companies in the D.C area were surveyed by size and industry. Honorees include government contractors, real estate firms, health service providers, and tech companies.

“The Post’s Top Workplaces list is now in its ninth year and continues to highlight the companies in the Washington-area that employees deem to be leaders in company satisfaction and engagement,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “Each year, the leaders at these companies are commended for their leadership and collegiality, qualities which have increased in importance to employees with the last few years of heightened transition and change.”

“Being recognized as a 2022 Top Workplace validates the commitment that we have not only to our members but to each other. We do our best as leaders to inspire and empower engaged teams where our team member’s culture is nurtured with a valued feeling of belonging,” said Holly Kortright, Chief Human Resource Officer of Navy Federal. “We are incredibly proud of this recognition, and most importantly, proud of our teams who make our organization what it is today.”
