How to Transfer Funds from Your Account

    Gather Information

    Make sure you have the Routing Transit Number and the checking account number at the financial institution receiving the ACH credit.

    Processing Time

    Transfers are generally credited within 2 to 3 business days, regardless of whether it’s a one-time or recurring transfer.


How to Transfer Funds to Your Account

  1. Step 1

    Contact the Other Financial Institution

    When speaking with the financial institution sending the transfer, be sure to ask not only if they offer ACH, but if any transfer limits apply.

  2. Step 2

    Authorization

    Authorize an ACH credit to your Navy Federal savings or checking account, or an ACH debit to your Navy Federal Checking or MMSA. You will need your account number and routing/transit number (256074974).

  3. Step 3

    Wait for Processing to Complete

    It may take several business days for the transaction to be credit to your checking account. There is no fee charged by us for this service, but other financial institutions may charge.
